Weekly Mantra:
I have an obligation.
I’ve been struggling with motivation.
I don’t always feel like writing all the time.
There are some days where picking up a pen or clacking away at a keyboard is the LAST thing I want to do.
But I do it anyways.
And I always feel better after.
I’m happy I did something hard.
I’m proud I followed through on my promise.
And most importantly, I did something good for others.
You see - I don’t see my writing as a selfish pursuit.
These ideas and insights I have surrouding living a Happier, more Meaningful Life are ideas that must be shared.
And that’s not me saying I’m special or have some “secret sauce”.
I’m not the shit.
I’m merely a muse.
Merely a vehicle for ideas.
Merely someone who thinks a lot - and then conveys it.
So remember - the art you’re creating is impacting someone.
It’s making them think.
It’s making them feel.
It’s making them them.
As an artist you have an obligation to create.
The world has given you a gift - cherish it.
