Life is Meaningless:

Life has no inherent meaning.

That’s okay.

That’s actually pretty cool.

Let me explain.

Albert Camus’ idea of the Absurd:

In the face of life’s indifference, humans are dumbfounded.

Bad things happen to good people and good things happen to bad people.

Children die of cancer.

8 year old girls get raped.

In the face of evil, true fucking evil, how can humans live?

There’s no order, no meaning to any of this life shit.

And though we can shake our fist at God or the Universe of whatever you want to call it - that’s all we can do.

Shake our first and curse.

And even though awful things happen.

Really fucking awful things happen.

The only thing us humans can do is grit our teeth, get up, and keep moving forward.

Forward towards an ideal.

An ideal of what we’d like to see in the world.

An ideal of the type of person we’d like to be.

An ideal.

So be it.

Life is meaningless, there’s chaos all around us, but we’ve gotta organize, pick ourselves up, and choose to devote our lives to something we find meaningful.

Fuck yeah.
