1 reflection
existential confusion.
last week i put out a new video. it’s a short documentary about my friend, pierre, who’s a musician and recently released his debut album. it was really fun to make. im happy w/ how it came out. and its doing decent.
cool.
but everytime im about a week or so w/o a project im working on, i feel this deep sense of confusion. like taking a new route home or somewhere you go late at night, potentially not under the most sober circumstances.
so these past few days, i’ve been asking myself “what do i want to make next?” and there’s a part of me that wants to make something completely different. but it’s in a field i have no formal education/expertise in, and im making a judgment about things which would definitely benefit from an expert.
but o well. fuck it we ball.
i like these moments of confusion. of disorientation and not necessarily being hunkered to one trade, project, mindset, etc. these periods of confusion are a moment to reflect and ask ourselves - what do i wanna do? what makes me good and what im good at? where do i want to go? how do i want to contribute??
as much as these moments of disorientation SUCK, i try to look at the bright side.
it’s a time for reinvention.
and to me, that’s the goal.
so yeah.
love you.
share this with a friend if you enjoyed it.
